About Our School

We would like to welcome you to Ashland Elementary School. We are excited you are a member of the Ashland Eagle community. The following information will help all families become familiar with the policies and procedures for a successful year ahead.

Ashland ​is committed to developing the whole child. At Ashland, students will be given regular opportunities to participate in music, art, physical education, media science and mental health as well as grade level appropriate curriculum. By developing the whole child, students will be able to express themselves creatively as well as understanding how to be empathetic member of the Ashland community. In addition, the five-day FCPS supported, GTAP (Gifted and Talented Accelerated Program) for grades 4-5 adds to ​depth and diversity ​at Ashland.
